Help Plan the Summer 2025 Fundraising Dinner

If you’re as excited as we are about the new regional pickleball complex at Lane Community College, this is your chance to help make it happen!

The Emerald Valley Pickleball Foundation is gearing up for the 2025 Fundraising Dinner and Auction and we could really use your help.

The Fundraiser will be in August, but planning is starting now. This is a fun and important evening for our pickleball community, and it takes many of us working together on the organizing and details to make the event a success.

Please consider volunteering whether as a committee co-chairperson or as a member of the volunteer team. You’ll enjoy working with other dedicated volunteers and you’ll receive lots of support and encouragement.

Here’s a list of the committees with brief descriptions of what each committee does. We need:

  1. Community Relations & Sponsorship – This committee is responsible for soliciting sponsorships for the event and cultivating community relationships.*

  2. Marketing, Promotion and Media – This committee is all about public relations. It is in charge of making sure word gets out about the event, and managing how it is covered by the media.*

  3. Finance & Registration – This committee is responsible for handling registration and tracking bidding on auction items. It also has the primary responsibility for tracking the event budget.

  4. Food & Beverage – This committee is responsible for providing an ample, delicious and timely supply of food/drinks.

  5. Silent and Live Auctions – This committee is responsible for soliciting donations for the live and silent auctions, keeping track of the donors and the donations and creating display tables the night of the event.*

  6. Décor – This committee is responsible for making the event look gorgeous – lighting, centerpieces, decorations, table settings.

  7. Planning & Logistics – This committee is responsible for the overall management of the event, crossing the t’s and dotting the i’s, making sure the entire event runs smoothly.

  8. Entertainment & Programming – This committee is primarily responsible for making sure the event is fun and entertaining! It’s not only in charge of securing entertainment for the night, but also creating the program and making sure it runs like a Hollywood production.

* Denotes high priority committees that need co-chairs and volunteers now.

We need everybody…We need you! It’s time to step up and make this regional pickleball complex a reality.
